Factasive (factasive.com) is provided by Tomasz Korolko, ul. Krępowieckiego 7A/134, 01-456 Warszawa, Poland. You can reach me at support@factasive.com.

The service

Factasive is a website with interesting facts, in-depth explanations, quizzes, Duels and a Daily Fact. You can use it for free within daily limits. Factasive Unlimited, a paid subscription, removes these limits. Facts are written and translated with the help of AI, and although I take care of their quality, they may contain mistakes. They are meant for curiosity and learning, not as professional advice.

Requirements

You need an internet connection and a current web browser with JavaScript, cookies and local storage turned on. No account is needed.

Using Factasive

The agreement for the free service starts when you begin using the website and ends when you stop. Please don’t use Factasive in ways that break the law, bypass its limits or security, collect its content automatically, or disrupt it for others. I may restrict access for anyone who does.

Factasive Unlimited

On factasive.com, Factasive Unlimited is sold by Link, Stripe’s payment service, which acts as the seller. Link handles the payment, receipts, renewals and refunds under its own terms, which you accept at checkout. Questions about payments and refunds can go to Link or to me.

The subscription starts with a 3-day free trial and then renews automatically every month or year at the price shown before purchase, until you cancel it. You can cancel anytime in the website’s settings (Manage Subscription) or at link.com. You keep Unlimited until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

After the purchase, you get a Factasive key. It’s shown only once, so keep it somewhere safe. With it, you can use Unlimited in up to five browsers. Don’t share it with others. If you lose it, write to me from the email address you used to subscribe and I’ll issue a new key; the old one will stop working.

Subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play are separate and are managed there.

Complaints

If something doesn’t work as it should, write to support@factasive.com and describe the problem. I’ll reply within 14 days. If you’re a consumer, you can also turn to a consumer ombudsman or other out-of-court ways of resolving disputes.

Availability and liability

I do my best to keep Factasive working, but it may be temporarily unavailable, for example during maintenance, and its features may change. To the extent permitted by law, I’m not liable for damage resulting from using the content. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Content

Factasive’s texts, design and code belong to me. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are shown under their licences. You may use Factasive for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Privacy

How Factasive handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

I may update these terms, for example when Factasive changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Changes that affect an active subscription will be announced on the website at least 14 days in advance, and if you don’t accept them, you can cancel the subscription.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live.
